Your statements
Ledgerfold converts statements entirely inside your browser. PDF files, transactions and exports are never uploaded to us or anyone else. We cannot see them.
What is sent over the network
- Licence check (paid plans only): your licence key, an activation id and an anonymous device hash go to our licence server, which asks our payment partner whether the subscription is active. Nothing else.
- OCR engine: when you open a scanned PDF for the first time, the open-source Tesseract engine and its English language data are downloaded from the public jsDelivr CDN. Your document is not sent; recognition runs on your computer.
- Website hosting: this site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (IP address, browser) to deliver and protect the site.
Payments
Checkout, invoices and VAT are handled by our merchant of record, Polar Software Inc. (polar.sh), under its own privacy policy. We receive your e-mail, plan and country, but never your card details.
Stored on your device
The app keeps your language, export preferences and licence token in your browser's local storage. Clearing site data removes them.
No tracking
No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, no cookies set by us.
Your rights (GDPR)
