Terms and licence
1. Licence. While your subscription is active you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Ledgerfold ("the Software") on the number of devices stated in your plan (Personal: 1 device, 1 user; Bookkeeper: up to 5 devices within one business).
2. Subscription. The licence is checked online every few days; the Software works offline for up to 7 days between checks. When the subscription ends, is cancelled or is not paid, the Software returns to the free trial mode. Updates are included while the subscription is active.
2a. Circumvention. You may not remove, disable or work around the licence check, share licence keys outside the device limit, or distribute modified copies.
3. Restrictions. You may not resell, sublicense, publish or redistribute the Software, remove notices, or offer it as a hosted service to third parties.
4. Data. The Software processes your files locally. The vendor does not receive, store or see your statements.
5. No warranty of fitness for accounting. The Software assists with data entry; you remain responsible for verifying exports before using them in accounting, tax or legal contexts. The Software is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law.
6. Refunds. 14 days from purchase if the Software cannot process your statements and support cannot resolve it.
7. Third-party components. pdf.js (Apache-2.0), SheetJS Community Edition (Apache-2.0), Tesseract.js (Apache-2.0, loaded on demand for scanned PDFs), pdf-lib (MIT), @noble/ed25519 and @noble/hashes (MIT); their notices are included in the distribution.
7a. Data sent for licensing. Only the licence key, an activation id and an anonymous device hash are sent to the licence server. Statements are never transmitted.
8. Governing law. Czech Republic, unless mandatory consumer law of your country applies.
Plans and cancellation
Subscriptions renew monthly or yearly until cancelled. Cancel any time in the customer portal linked from your receipt; the app then returns to the free trial (exports limited to 10 rows).
